This Austin Healey followed the familiar cycle of a long period of disuse gathering dust in a garage followed by a rejuvenation.
I contacted the owner to arrange a photo shoot in hopes of having pictures to use for paintings for an upcoming British car meet. We met at his country club where he’d gotten the okay to put the vehicle on the green. That provided the best backdrop I’ve ever had for a car. He couldn’t have been more helpful.
The objective was to showcase the car at it’s shiny best.
Thunderstorms were predicted for the day, but we met there anyway and instead got the perfect combination of blue sky, white fluffy clouds, and sun.
